A alpha dog is the leader of the pack he is the one all the other dogs look up to. The alpha dog is confident and always in control. If the other dogs in the pack disobey the alpha dog. The alpha dog will use his body language, and growl to keep the pack submissive. The alpha dog eats first, and is always in the lead of the pack.
Most dog owners make the same mistake when bringing home their new dog. They show way to much affection. If you want to become the alpha dog you must train you dog first then show affection. Once your dog see’s you as the alpha dog you can show your dog affection. Until then you must show your dog who the alpha dog is.
How to Become The Alpha Dog.
Before you bring your dog home you must have everyone in the house know how to become the alpha dog. Everyone must be on the same page when becoming the alpha dog. If everyone is consistent you will train your dog to become submissive. When you train your dog to become submissive he will respect you. Your dog needs to learn that he has last rank in the pack. Everyone in the house must have leadership over the dog. When your dog knows his role in the pack you will have a obedient submissive dog.
Always eat before your dog. Then feed your dog last. In order to become the alpha dog your dog needs to see you eat first. The reason for this is in a pack of dogs the alpha dog eats first. If your dog sees you and your family eating before him. The dog will assume you are the alpha dog. You, the dog owner will be one step closer to becoming the alpha dog.
Don’t let your dog sleep in your bed or jump onto the furniture. Becoming the alpha dog means to own your domain. The alpha dog is the only one that sleeps in the den. If you let a dog sleep in your bed you are showing the dog that you are equals. If a dog thinks his owner is his equal. He will not win his respect. If a dog dose not respect his owner, the dog will not become submissive. A submissive dog is a well obedient dog.
