Dog City USA is a Full Service Dog-Walking/Pet Sitting company, catering to the individual needs of your pet. Priding ourselves on Individual and Private walks instead of large "pack" groups, we are able to give your dog the private attention and fun he/she needs.

Large Breeds and/or difficult dogs are no problem. We specialize in "pullers," troublemakers and quirky dogs. We feel that they are just as special, and treat their "special talents" with care and loving attention.

Owner-Walker-Trainer: Allison Barron is a National Athlete with a background in Canine Nutrition, exercise and weight loss mgt., as well as Pet CPR and Geriatric Canine Massage. Very often you will see her out and around town Rollerblading with her own two Huskies, "Aspen" and Dakota."

FAQ

Q. How many dogs do you walk at a time?

A. We do mostly individual walks, but depending on your dog's personality, he/she may be paired up with a suitable friend/companion (owner permitting).

Q. My dog is overweight. Can you exercise him/her so that he/she loses the excess weight?

A. Yes! All of our walkers are athletes and specialists in dog nutrition and weight loss.

We love to run with your dog, and I personally start clients off with a weight management plan including nutritional guidance. Then we begin an exercise regimen for your dog (based on age and individual needs).

Q. What if my dog doesn't get along with other dogs on the street?

A. We walk all kinds of dogs with all kinds of "attitudes." We are experienced and accept many dogs with "less than perfect" personalities.

Q. What times are available to me?

A. I walk dogs in the mornings between the hours of 6am and 8:30am, 7 days a week. And then again between the hours of 12:30pm and 9:30pm, 7 days a week.

Our Policies

Cancellation:

                           Once your dog has a time slot,

                                  a 24 hour cancellation policy is

                                  in effect, or payment is required

                                  (unless there is a valid emergency)

Access To Your Home:

                           We ask for a copy of your house

                                  keys, that will be safely held. If you

                                  live in a doorman building and do not

                                  wish to leave your keys with us, you

                                  must notify your doorman that your

                                  keys must be present at the time we

                                  come to walk your dog. Alert your

                                  doorman of our presence.

Safety:

                           We will check all leashes and collars

                                  to make sure your dog is fitted for

                                  his/her size and needs.

Additional Care:

                           Leave a towel by your door and we will 

                                  be happy to wipe your dog's feet after

                                  his/her walk on snowy/rainy days. We

                                  will also refill your pets water bowl, so

                                  they can enjoy the rest of their day!

Payment:

                              Payment is expected at the end of each

                                  week and is on a cash basis only. For your

                                  protection and records, we provide a

                                  statement and receipt at the end of each

                                  week (upon request).
